Directions:

In a large saucepan, sauté the onions in olive oil for 10 minutes.

To the saucepan, add the lamb, red pepper, garlic, and tomato puree.

Stir in the tomato sauce, basil, and water.

Simmer on low for 90 minutes, covered.
